I think you have nailed his tone (maybe just a touch more treble). Nice job with the D'lite!

Close enough ...
However, It sounds more like your personal version of his tone ...
& that's even cooler ...

Thanks guys,
I just turned it on and played without reguard for how the tone was set. The amps tone can vary a lot. The controls have a wide range. Everything so far has been played at bedroom volumes. I would love to be able to turn it up and see what the volume dynamics of the amp are capable of.

More great D'Lite tones. Pab again? If so, you are really making that work for you. I'm still trying to get that sound together.

Nice,

Chuck

Hi CD,
I used the PAB but the drive was pretty low too. I'm still loooking for the controlled feedback that I know these amps are capable of.

I had Moss build mine. I have been working 11 hours a day and don't have time for such things. He did a great job too!

I'm anxiously waiting on a 6l6 version, I like the headroom 6L6's afford over the 6v6's.

Moss was playtesting MY amp this past weekend at a gig before he ships it out..

I couldn't be more d'lyted!

The Santana clip was the D'lite 22 with 6l6 power tubes. They add headroom and clairity on the top end.
Are you getting a combo or head\cab version?

Getting a head and 112 cab in creme.

Did you get different iron with the 6L6 version? What would you guess for the wattage with the new tubes 30-40?

Compared to where your settings were for the santana clip how aggressive will the D'lite get? Any examples or references to songs would be helpfull!

I really enjoyed your Santana clip BTW. Thanks for posting it.
So many people are just going for the whole Carlton thing it's nice to hear some range from the amp!

I just opened a soundclick account so maybe I can get a clip together when she arrives.

Really nice! Nailed the feel of that tune well - and I may even prefer your tone to Carlos' :BEER

What kind of guitar/PUPs was that?

Mine is the 6v6 version....I just put 6l6 tubes in it and rebiased and set my oum selector to half of the actual speaker resistance.
As far as aggression...the sky is the limit...very saturated.
