80's LP w/one piece body?

Were there any LP's produced with one piece bodies after '69 that were not custom shop/vos models? I am looking at an 80's model that has a one piece body with blonde top. Earlier mis-dated ? or copy?
thanks,
Rick

The seller has a good rep .....but, I have never seen a blond deluxe with a one piece body like this. Late 70's early 80's with volute, and dot over I in Gibson. #80916594 best that I could tell from stamped headstock. Any other opinions?
Thanks,
Rick

My old 81 Standard had a 1 piece body, and a 3 piece top, as well as a 3 piece maple neck.

So what years did the LP have a solid body then? I thought after '68/early69 that only custom shop, VOS, reissue stuff had the one piece body?
Thanks,
Rick

Figure by 79 or so, Gibson was kind of getting the idea that people wanted LPs like they made in the "good old days."

What do you mean by a one-piece body? Most Les Pauls if not all in the 80s in my retail experience had one piece mahogany backs. There are also plenty of late period Norlin guitars with 2 piece tops.

Also don't get confused by that custom shop nonsense or.. er...term. The custom shop label has different connotations depending on when the guitar was made . It was only several years into the Juskiewicz "salvation" that it meant a separate facility bla bla woof woof.

My '82 Standard has a 1-piece back, and a 3-piece top. The top's not as thick as some Les Pauls.
