Lexicon MX200

So, I've had this beastie for a few months now, and I'm convinced it's a steal at $200. Anyone else loving theirs?

Agreed that it is a total steal at 200 bucks.

Excellent unit.

Dooo elaborate,

I'm planning on going girly rack, and am auditioning the MX200/300/400 as well as the MPX1..

The MPX1 has the advantage of having a footpedal input for the occasional whammy +1 oct. I'd like to pitch shift..
But ofcourse, the MX's can take CC-data to get a pitch shift .. ?

Also want to give this unit some praise!

Very lush reverbs, nice tape delays and mod delays, vintage sounding chorus. No tone suck through the serial loop on my XTC.

A great buy for $199.

yep!
sounds really good. This is in the serial loop of my XTC which is a great loop on it's own.

I'm using 3 ft cables both ways.

Very cool, I found them on-line for $180 delivered.
BTW . .does it do a nice modulated delay ? That's pretty much all I want.

yes, I really like it. I'm not experienced too much in this type of delay, but I keep programming mod delay or tape delay as my main delays... so sounds real good to me.

Yeah, it is a cool box and refreshingly easy to get to the effects - no menus! [I actually bought the MX300 too, but having owned loads of processors I guess at this point I am weary of nested menus, and liked the sounds from the MX200 just as well, so I sold it.] Only effect I don't like much is the chorus, but no worries, it is in my rack because I lacked tremolo, reverb, and a phaser more suited to high-gain than my Retrosonic (i.e. post-gain).
