Twin Town lost my set-up business. They took much longer than promised and I don't think they even touched my guitar. It felt exactly the same as when I bought it in.

There's a luthier/repair guy named John Brown who is supposed to be---well, from what I've heard---the best!

He does alot of work for Solidbody Guitars-----in fact they stock some of his guitars that he's built. Maybe call them for contact info.

Hey, if you're talking about a basic set up you should seriously consider doing your own. I just did my first set up including adjusting the truss rod, saddle, and pickups and setting a lower action. I found it extremely easy...it just took a few adjustments to get it right and all I needed was a 6" metal ruler with 64th inch increments. I can recommend you some internet resources that helped me along if you're interested. It's so worth it...then you're on your own time instead of some random dudes time who doesn't necessarily care about your guitar.

I'd love to learn how!

I have a Lakland bass that John Brown refretted right before I bought it, and he did an outstanding job.

I actually had a 56 Relic Strat years ago that John refretted. The work was incredible!
