Any changes to your Fender Tweed Twin?
Just curious if anyone who owns a reissue Fender Tweed Twin has made any chages to it that made it better tonally. Such things as tubes, caps for example.
If you did make some changes please say what it was and the results. If possible say make amd model of anything you did. |

I replace the tubes with 12Ay7 V1 and tungsol 5881,s
also use attanuator to be able to get some very sweet power tube distortion. |

I have an original '56 Twin and the best thing I ever did for it was to put two Vox Alnico speakers in it. It totally transformed the amp.

Hogy: Have you heard the RI fender, or any of the boutique clones? How do they compare to your original tweed twin?
