I did one too:

I backed off the bass solo

I like the open and un-aggressive way you did yours. No cliche blues licks and a nice sus feel, great chops. And it's cool the way it builds and backs off, and such a nice smooth negotiation of the "bridge."

Ivers GREAT playing, I enjoyed that a lot:BEER. Fun to hear all different takes over this extremely FUN to play over backing.
I posted my take in his original thread (As Joe requested , i also think it would be cool to find all takes in one thread. It is soo fun to hear how different players approach the same peice) and I'm glad i didn't hear you version first. I wish i had you're musicality and technique :RoCkIn

Yo Ivers ....
Your ideas always manage to take the listener on a trip....
& always educate a musician's ears in a few new approaches ...
No problem about stepping on anything ... you were part of the whole..

(I'm going going to copy this to the original thread to nobody missess it...)

Once again, thanks for sharing, Joe, this BT was damn fun to play around with!

PB+J, nice take, man, excellent timing, and I also liked the small themes Rid mentioned.
