Yep, it's a little streamlined. We like to do this shape when going without a pickguard, it looks sleeker.

Hey, I just noticed that that second picture is with a different bridge on it than the first! I tried 3 different bridge plates and 3 sets of saddles before settling on the Wilkinson with Glendale heat-treated steel. That combination brought the guitar to life for me. The Glendale stainless steel bridge in the second picture tamed the guitar a touch and added more of an acoustic-guitar top end zing to it with a slightly scooped midrange. Very cool, but the ferrous Wilkinson lends a stronger upper midrange snarl that works very well with the Fralin pickup.
