Aftermarket mini-humbuckers?

Who all offers 'em (the ones with exposed polepieces, not the Firebird-types)? I know Lollar does ($150 ea.!). Anyone know of any alternatives? I'm looking at a korean Riviera, and, true to gear page geekdom, am already convinced I'll want to up-grade the p.u.s. I tend to think ahead on these things. Prolly do the whole damn harness, from what I've seen of the korean Epi's.
Thanks for any leads-

I've got the lollars in 3 guitars, my favorite pickup without a doubt.

I think DiMarzio actually makes one as well, never used it.

I'm curious also, as I have a squeal problem (at high volumes) in my '69 Les Paul Deluxe.

Those are really hard to "pot" without deforming the little bobbins. It is possible that the covers are the problem...you may want to remove them in order to place a very thin piece of foam on top of the bobbibs that will get squashed down when you solder the covers back on...also try intalling a rather stiff foam pad under the pups that will help to damp the baseplates.

One of the best mini humbuckers IMO are the Hofner ones on their Verythin models, very underated. I have various guitars incl a 59 & 66 Tele, a Gibson 1960 330 and yet everytime I play the Hofner I am told it sounds the best. I always take two guitars when giging and like changing, but my Hofner is always one of them!

Unfortuantely I was advised last year by the Hofner Rep at the London guityar show that Hofner weren't going to do the Verythin with the minis anymore only fullsized so don't know if you can still get them. He said himself he thought they sounded really good and considerably better than the normal size Hofner Buckers, but people seemed to prefer the look of the normal sized ones than the smaller ones. Maybe its a male ego thing!

I've got a set of like new Gibsons from my 04 Deluxe, hardly ever played, I switched them for Lollar P90s. They sound great though, pretty much identical to my 71 Deluxe. If you're interested drop me a line

The Lollar's are great. The Duncan Antiquities are awesome too. I've got one in the neck of my Tele and I love it.

Haven't tried the Lollars, but the Andersons and the DiMarzio "vintage" minibuckers are great. The Andersons are kind of their own flavor, the DiMarzios pretty traditional.

I reckon if you'd said Tom Anderson I'd have known! I didn't see mini-HB in his list of p.u.s?
Bluebuff-are mini's from a L.P. Deluxe the same as the Epi ones? Will they fit in a Epi surround?
Thanks y'all
