ernie ball volume tone suckage

I have a stero ernie ball volume running to one amp, and it sucks some serious tone and has major volume loss. Any ernie ball users experiences this. I have a looper though so I run it in that.

I was getting the same thing, so I stoped using it...

I'm still looking for the end all volume pedal.

Probably a Goodwrich or Hilton.

I used to run an Ernie Ball VP. I was <-----> close to selling it, but someone suggested placing a buffer right before or after it (I can't remember which one) and that pretty much made it usable.

Good luck!

make sure the volume pot/teflon cord are adjusted properly. i noticed a little tone suckage when i was using a vpjr. i adjusted it so the volume pot was 100% all the way up when the pedal was in its full on position. you have to take the front of the pedal off where the jacks are to get to it.

I've had good luck placing a buffer directly in front of my VP Jr. Low Impedance model.
