I ordered 6 months ago and still waiting. Scotty went through some hard times recently and I believe he's working on them now.

I've sent several emails and left a voicemail and still no contact. I even requested a refund and nothing.

Am I the only one completely fed up with this situation? I'm really beginning to think I've been ripped off. Why else would he not respond with the status?

hey,

so i just spoke with Scotty. apparently things are starting to get under control and boards for the supa quacks are scheduled to arrive dec. 7th. he also realizes people are getting agitated with the progress and said he sincerely apologizes for that and understands the frustration.

it's too bad the way it's working out, because when you speak to him he really seems like a great guy trying his hardest. but, in the end, there's no disputing the fact that people have been waiting for 8 and 9 months with no communication.

anyways, i really hope scotty gets it all together and we get our pedals soon and he gets his business back on track. it'll be a win-win for all of us!

anyways, that's the update. he also said that if there are any further questions beyond that, feel free to give him a call and he'll try his best to get to it.

however, i figure you'll probably get the same information i just said. so, unless you want a heartfelt apology directly from the man himself, we could probably let him get to his pedals!!!

Scotty has perfected the art of making promises about delivery etc. and never keeping them. I ordered my quack 7 months ago after he promised
on the phone and in 2 emails 6 weeks delivery.
I had him do a mod for me a couple of years ago with 6 week turnaround promise. After 2 months he promised it would be in the mail that weekend.
After that I called him once a month and always got the same promise.I gave up calling after 4 months and finally got it after 6 months.
I called him and emailed him a couple of months ago requesting refund and of course no response. His work is the best period.I'm sure the quack is the best.Don't bother calling him because all his promises are empty.

You know, IMO, it's not the best.
I own better sounding wahs, fuzzes, etc.

+1 The Supaquack was a letdown. Sucks to have so many guys waiting for a $410 wah, hope you guys get them soon. Despite the wait and nonexistant communication and outright lies, I would have kept it if it truly was better than the other stuff out there.

Here are some clips - same Bruno Ug30 rig, same recorder, etc.

I owned a SupaQuack LE in the vintage housing for a few months. It was a very good, organic & vintage sounding wah, but I'll second or third the opnions here. It wasn't my favorite wah. There are other equal or better sounding wahs out there. My number one is an early serial number Teese Picture Wah. It's about as perfect as it gets though I'm also a fan of the early Vox V-846 too. I may try an Area51 soon. Lots of positive feedback on those.

same boat here guys, waiting for the wah and another pedal. I love scotty's pedals, I really do.
I would just love them more If I could actually touch them with my own hands, ya know?
At least I know I am getting the best wah in the land (oh wait...), No I am keeping the wah forever If I get it, I mean...
scotty, we love you man...keep building...peace mike

I'm glad I wasn't the only one. I've owned two Supa's (bought one brand new from Scotty, and bought one used while I waited 6 months for the new one)....nice wah, but I sold them both because I favored the Area-51 kit and a Teese Pic-wah with my rig/ears.

Scotty makes some killer stuff - I still own the MKII and Scary-Face, which are excellent takes on classic fuzz designs. I owned and sold the Direct-Drive - that one wasn't my cup-o-tea, but I could see why others might dig it. I'd like to try his DD v2, but no way am I going to order/pay and then wonder when I'll get it.

Ive owned three Supa Quacks, my first chrome top LE sounded real close to my Italian V846.

Well,
I've had the Clyde, A pic wha, Area51 and a few others and I favor the Quack way more than all the others . I think it boils down to your guitar and amp type really,to find a wha that fits your ears & style...
bought mine used (it's in the new housing)thinking i'd try it then sell it but I can't seem to let this one go. pricey , yes. But I really dig mine..
I haven't tried the KR yet, but I'd like to....
I know this doesn't have anything to do with the Quacks wait time but I figured I'd post as one guy who thinks the Quack is a badass....
