Midi Guitar "Mad Easter"

Heres a short midi guitar piece, its a quartet (plus one short percusion part) Its called "Mad Easter"....Have a listen.
http://soundclick.com/share?songid=5910888
95% was played and 5% made up on the Key and Score pages of Cubase.
But...how do you think it was arranged ? !!!..........Its a simple trick but took a couple of days to get a result.

Hey man, you make some wicked music. I like the "Jumbuck" track. I read on your page that you played the bass line with your guitar synth. Cool stuff. Marin

Was it played in one pass on the guitar and then assigned to the four instruments? Alternatively, maybe each string gets its own instrument (maybe two strings for two of the instruments)?

Sweet. It reminds me of the scene in close encounters of the third kind when the ufo's were communicating with the organ at the end.
Keep them coming.

Wow, what depth man! Beautiful.
I'm definitely hearing some cool rock/fusion influences... sort of Holdsworth meets Vai on a Zappa tune.
Your chops are just plain sick. Love it

Very curious about the midi guitar you mention. I never heard of that one.
By the way, I was an avid Atari user for years too. (Creator/Notator)

D-A-M-N!!

Live take?... If so you had one midi channel per string w/ multiple splits going up the octaves.
The response of whatever MIDI pickup you have is really amazing... and your picking technique is just outta this galaxy.

Dude...!

Yep basically........But I recorded it using a marimba and flute type sound that felt easy to play with then chose the playback sounds later. 95% was performance and 5% made up on the edit pages of Cubase. I made several copies of the part (about 8) put 4 copies in the arrange/project page, assigned different midi channels and sounds to each one and started erasing hundreds of notes here and there. So now a 10 note phrase could have say notes 1,2,3,7 and 8 played on one instrument and notes 4,5,6 and 10 played on another. I didn,t add any notes though apart from that 5% mentiond earlier.

So 95% can be played on regular guitar. I had to write the Tab out as soon as I,d recorded it whilst the fingering was still fresh in my head.!!!! I would like to do a version with four different rock guitar sounds.

Thanks for all the comments and listening and "Pickmaster" do you sell those picks you show on your website ?

Hey Scottl thanks for getting me here, theres so much to learn from all you guys.
