Tom Anderson pickups in Tele '52?

I have Tom Anderson classic and I'm just in love with the sound of this guitar. I thought to upgrade my Tele 52 reissue with his pickups and would like to know if anyone already did this.
I'm more of a humbucker man so I'm looking for kind of fuller bridge tone from single coil.
Any other suggestions are welcome!

Hmmm...well if you wanted the straight Tom Anderson tele bridge (single coil) pu. Then that would be the TV3. I've got one in an Anderson Hollow T and I like it a lot.

You might try his M3, which is a smaller humbucker that can give you pretty good single coil sounds.

if you use the M's in the bridge position of a tele, it's gonna need to be a TM, which is an M with the pentagonal base shape of the tele bridge route.

I had the TV3s in both of my Anderson Hollow Ts. However, for a fuller sound I run a Seymour Duncan Hot Rails (but wired for a single-coil type of sound...I believe there are four different wiring option....been a long while) in my Charvel Model 7 "Tele". Fat and full yet still retaining some articulation.

Well I just received my Tele reissue 52 from Japan and was kind of in doubt how it's going to sound and play but Vintage coils just makes me smile so no need for a change at all. Unbelievable craftsmanship!

If you do change them out, I would go for Fralins over Anderson pups.

good to hear. It's nice when the thing that shows is up is inspiring all on its own. And yeah, a lot of the MIJ and CIJ stuff is phenomenal. Congrats!

Thanks, I'm really impressed with this guitar specially because I tried like 20 Teles (old, new, American, Mexico, expensive, cheap) and decided to go other direction- a blind buy. And I got a killer Telecaster with very nice and resonant ash much lively and percussive than that from American '52 reissue that I had a chance to try.

so where'd you get it? was it an ebay thing or a TGP deal?

I'm digging my AV Hot Rod '52 Tele, but I have also been jonesing for a little grab n' go amp and I'd love to find a playable tele and be able to sell the Hot Rod and clear up some cash for a cheaper tele AND an amp...
