Mic and Mag Pickup w/ Stereo Sends?
I was looking at the Duncan Mag/Mic and I was pretty impressed with the sound, but it is not quite what I need for my setup.
I was hoping to find a pickup system that will output in stereo... one send for the magnetic signal and one send for the mic signal. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

you don't need a "system", you just need the pickup of your choice and the mic of your choice, wired to a stereo jack.
i believe a lot of the marketing of these system's does a disservice. you have a mono signal or two mono signals and an acoustic amp is basically a portable p.a. system, with two separate channels. as for preamps, you should do all that off-board anyway. |

the baggs dual source can be set to have a stereo out, and its mic is surprisingly useful.
you can substitute the mag pickup of your choice for the under-saddle element, it even does a good job preamping a sunrise. i do something similar, using an imix system, with a dimarzio reference acoustic instead of the saddle pickup.

The Fishman Rare Earth Blend (humbucker + mini condenser mic) is easily wired for stereo out. I split the signals at the board and can balance/eq separately. Very natural sound with good gain before feedback.
