I have to withdraw my endorsement of StrapKing for now. For one, there is something wrong with their email system, and it is impossible to contact them except via US Mail. (It's been this way at least since last Wednesday). Second, I received a strap today that I ordered, and it turned out to be a really cheap 1/16th" thick piece of leather. I've never seen a strap to thin in my life. (It was the white leather strap with black notes, ala SRV). I just dropped it in the mail back to them.

There is a company in Louisville KY, called The Leatherhead, and they make an ergonomic strap that they've got the patent on. I use one, and a ton of celebs have commishoned him to make straps. Highly recommend checking him out....

Has anyone else tried these straps Neotech Leather SUPER AX

As I think I have narrowed it down to
the Neotech or Comfort Strap, but need some more opinions on the Neotech.

I used a padded 3" strap with the Gigliotti I had...it was heavy. But the strap worked great.

+1 for the Neotech. I have one on my heaviest guitar and it makes it much more livable. Nicely made and cheap compared with the alternatives.

If you wan't a comfy wide strap, check out the 4-inch Italia's. I've had good luck with them and even ordered a couple for my friends for the holidays.

I have a Neotech "soft strap" that I use with my heaviest guitar, and it's very nice. It has just the right amount of give to cushion the weight.

El Dorado "Super Natural" Straps are excellent, but very pricey...
