I hang on this site a lot...great videos for technique, or learning songs from certain artists, or just backing (jamtrax). These dvd's are friggin spot on.

Are you one of the "Elite Members" ? Think it works out to about 78 US dollars for 6 months. Anybody that has purchased think it was worthwhile?

Andy Aledort's Axis Bold As Love DVD has been keeping me busy for months. He gets it pretty close. It's not perfect but I've been able to figure out stuff after seeing how he interprets it. In case it's not perfectly clear, it's a complete study part by part of the Axis Album. Price is right too at around $10.00.

I'm high on their DVDs as well. You could divide the DVDs into three broad categories: 1) techniques; and 2) lead solos; and 3) whole songs. I own about eight of the "whole song" DVDs. This isn't "in the style of," where you get a couple of riffs and various parts of the song. Almost without exception, you get at least one guitar part for the entire song (lead and rhythm).

Some are better than others, but I'm not disappointed with any of them. One caveat: most of the entire song DVDs (except for ones listed at www.melbay.com) are in PAL format. They won't play on North American DVD player, but they will play on your computer. These PAL DVDs aren't even sold in the U.S. (licensing issues); however, you can order them overseas . . . it will cost you, but I'm very happy with my purchases.
