Delay Pedals - the most informative TGP threads are...? (the handy reference page)

I'm finding the navigation through the delay pedal terrain to be almost as tumultuous as OD/Distortion/Fuzz box terrain. I've also seen about 5,000 threads started to "Help me find a good delay..." which alone is just about as pointlessly vague as "Recommend a good dirt box"

The delay-scape is vast both in tonality and feature sets and I know there have been many threads here devoted to enlighten the uninitiated. So, my challenge to you pedal gassers/geeks is to make this the reference thread to delay pedal seekers everywhere.

First, some keywords to make this easy to find: delay . difference . differences . type . types . information . info . education . analog . digital

Please help in adding to this (don't delay ). I thought this was a good thread regarding the differences between analog and digital delays...

I'll add more to this spot as I find them.

Stratman76 - great idea trying to create a "goto" thread, but this link doesn't work. Maybe this instead?

http://www.thegearpage.net/board/sho...light=eventide

BTW, sorry, I was one of the offenders in the endless series of delay opinion questons. I did find the nova vs eventide thread a few days ago. A lot of love for the nova delay.

I believe the delay quest can be just about as daunting as the od/distortion/fuzz quest.

Here's a thread comparing the Nova to the Boss DD-20

http://www.thegearpage.net/board/sho...d.php?t=330588

and these...

http://www.thegearpage.net/board/sho...d.php?t=314768

http://www.thegearpage.net/board/sho...d.php?t=284872

http://www.thegearpage.net/board/showthread.php?t=307128

And the longest thread on this (thanks Kenneth!)

http://www.thegearpage.net/board/showthread.php?t=288824

The Nova Delay vs. Boss DD-20 might be the most exhaustive thread in TGP history! Makes me want an Eventide!

And then the "no love for the Boss DD-20" thread

http://www.thegearpage.net/board/sho...d.php?t=278064

There was a very cool thread where a Boss DD-20 user posted a his settings for a wide variety of DD-20 sounds? Can anyone help find this one?

Similar to this...(Boss DD-20 settings)

http://www.thegearpage.net/board/showthread.php?p=2732399#post2732399

Or this one (Boss DD-20 settings)

I recently auditioned an EH #1 Echo... I was highly impressed with the unit. Very nice analog feel and tones from a digi pedal. It will be making it's way onto my board soon.

Once again proof for my theory that some people post on the basis of the key words in the title here and don't even read the original post.

A good, but short, thread was the Analog Delay Vs. thread :
Analog delay: EH DMM vs. Maxon AD999 vs. T-Rex Replica vs. Memory Lane vs. ??
