Is this a real JV?
Can this Fender JV Stratocaster be an original in that color?

I'd say no, definately not... JV's were traditional vintage type colours, I used to collect JV's... never seen one like this even in catologues..

Looking at the link you posted I'd guess it means Japan Vintage, not Jimmy Vaughn.
