Fuchs Clean Machine video clip!

Video clip from Andy... Fuchs booth from NAMM 2008.

Great clean... creamy... crisp... Check this yourself!

I loved Fuchs's one 12 cab with Eminence 's Red White & Blues.

This was very low volume playing.... Great tone from this amp & cab!

I really enjoyed it.

Thank you so much! 11am first song!

I could be sound better if I had another cup of coffee!

It was new one channel clean (you could have very nice natural od if you want to) amp. There are 75/100/150 watts.

This is 100 watts?

Thanks,

Tomo

Love your playing and the tone was fantastic.

Can you give an idea of how much gain was set on the amp? Tone control setting? Stuff like that. Would really like to duplicate that tone with my strat!

Hello Dave,

Thanks a lot for your kind words! I am after the good tone!

Actually I asked Andy... he didn't remember. He said ... nothing special about setting. Maybe all 12:00 ???

My strat .. 1992 Fender SRV strat. front pickup. Tone from my guitar is always full 10. Volume from my guitar.. 9 to 10? Change volume by how I pick...

Thanks,

Tomo

Nice clip Tomo!~
I have heard good things about that amp - does it stay pretty responsive with single coils? Most of the Fuchs clips I hear are done with 'buckers so it's harder to tell. Was that a std single in your strat?

Cool stuff, Tomo. Did it seem like they had an idea on the price yet?

I think Andy just came up "Clean Machine" for Fuchs himself.

Clean Machine holds my strat tone so well and crisp but very musical top end.. no spiky at all. And note grow after I pick... sustain is amazing too.

I don't the price.. but I am on the list today!

Tomo, killer laid back groove and all those interesting "in between" notes. I love how you are always playing melodies rather than licks. I especially like the fact that as you got into it, you couldn't stay seated, lol. Were you using one of Andy's pedals on that vid? Sounds like your strat had some thick edge to it, unlike the pristine cleans in the 2nd vid.

The clean machines are coming out in: 75 ( 2 X 6550), 100 (4 x 6L6) and 150-W (4 x 6550) models, in both heads and combos. Priced fairly from about 3-K and up, depending on options. It's 4 tubes: 12AX7 preamp, 12AX7 loop, 12AX7 pre driver, 6FQ7 power tube driver.

The amps have a series/parallel loop, fan, a half power option on the 100 and 150, and foot switching options for gain boost, mid boost, mute, loop bypass, and reverb. Basic model is one dual footswitch, your choice of functions, and artist options for those wanting multiple functions.

Coolest thing (for a reverb slut like myself) is a 4-knob reverb ! A year or so in coming...Tone and dwell (input to pan ), tone and volume (output). Anything from surf to cathedral.

Excellent with pedals (COINCIDENCE ?, I think not...).

Forgive the website lag, but we're working on both the Fuchs and Plush sites as I type. The cabinet was the our front ported closed back 112 Plush cabinet with an R,W,B speaker. That cab is new and exclusive to Plush, and we're proud of how huge it sounds ! It is available with the RWB (I've never heard the RWB sound better imho), a 12-L, or a Celestion 1265 (or any other custom choices)

The model Tomo played was a 100-W head. I tweaked the knobs as Tomo played, and stopped where it sounded best. Knob settings are meaningless. Set them where it sounds best.
