Cool stuff guys. You can see old (3 years ago) pics of my studio on the link to my website in my signature. My wife's going to take some new pics for updating the site and when she does I'll post them here.

The first pick is my current situation (AmpKit Link and iPad), second pic is what I will end up with soon, but different guitars at this point. I do completely silent instrumental recording and practicing right now.
If I were to do a 360 view of the room you would see a large, comfortable room filled with tons of kids toys
Just yesterday I was looking at the unfinished side of my basement determining how (and when) I can build that side into my control room area, then take over the entire large area for tracking (including my humble corner). Give me ~10-15 years and it's gonna happen

I actually really like that desk! Mind telling me where you found it?

thanks much!

i love those LSR's. picked them up on CL for $400, and i was going to flip them, but i just couldn't! terrific sounding speakers.

having meters, volumes and a front facing power button are all great additions to a monitor.

^ I like that cabinet full of pedals/mics. I've been thinking about doing the same with an old set of barrister bookcases. I'm guessing the ones I have would rattle like crazy.

gracias.

it was actually built into the wall by a previous owner.

it's in the amp room, and you'd assume it would sound like a mixing bowl full of ball bearings, but it's pretty silent.

i tell the wife i need more pedals and mics on there, as the weight helps secure it ;-)
