Don't these go for $699 on line (with free shipping)? Why pay over $200 more (+ $45 shipping) for a used guitar that I can get new for a lot less? Are these being discontinued?

Look at the shipping locations, guys. Just because it's $699 in the US does not mean that it's $699 everywhere. Given the power of the Euro (and many other currencies compared to our ruined US currency), the current bid price isn't all that out of line.

Previous run (just a few years back) of the SG Jrs all wound up at MF and were blown out at $399.

I think new Strats are more like $949. nowadays.
