Anyone use a Roger Mayer Voodoo 1? What is LIKE it?

. .. the Rackdoctor vids kill me with that pedal. . .

what circuit is it? or is it like?

I have one. I don't know what the circuit is. It's kind of a 'chunky' overdrive. I like it best with a Stratocaster and a Marshall type amp.

It in front of a TS-808 or TS-9 is a great combo. Most use it as a clean boost, it fills out the low end. When cranked it reminds me more of a fuzz than an od.

It`s a nice "on all the time"-pedal. I use it for clean to light grit, really just to keep things a bit more even when I use my guitars volume knob. It adds a little bass and sparkle, too.

It`s a great help to enhance things when having to play through Fenders, or whatever amp really, at really low volume.

Stacks nicely with both TS-9s and SD-9s in any configuration.
