Distortion that verges on Fuzz

So I'm trying to find a really aggressive sounding distortion that verges on the Fuzz territory. I know RAT's can get close, but I'm looking for something with more hair. any suggestions?

A Rat will do it, but the new EHX Holy Stain really does a good job of this.

definitely the Diamond Fireburst. A fine, well-crafted distortion box with a very low noise floor. Likes single coils and buckers as well.
I would also consider the Keeley Rat

Also worthy of mention is the Way Huge Red Llama or the Wren and Cuff version of this circuit, The Red Camel Fuzz-Driver.

I think the Skreddy MAYO is a Fuzz that can be backed down into distortion territory.

How about Analogman's Sunface... You can control the amount of fuzz on tap with a pot on the inside. You can get anything from light OD to full on fuzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Landgraff Mo'D will get you there. For a less expensive alternative, check out the Brown Rabbit or Lovekraft Chupacabra.

The Boss BD-2 might fit your description of aggressive distortion. It starts getting into fuzz at top gain. It is good stock, but I found the tone control to be a little limited. The Keeley modded ones make them a sound a bit better.
