Zvex BoR - bass was untameable

Mesa V-1 bottle rocket - smooth but too transparent. I was looking for instant tonal transformation with this guy.

BB Pre Amp - sounds kind of small with the band
OCD - too fizzy for my ears
Blackstone - I guess I am not a Mosfet guy
Eternity (Roadhouse) - sounds great, yet oddly unusable for my setting. I'm glad I'mnot the only one. I like it best with a tele, though.
Sunface NKT - amazing, but not that usable in my music. Al little high maintenance. (I may just be lame with the fuzz)

Also - Fulldrive 2 - sometimes I love it, sometimes I hate it. weird - seems to be best in my set up with the Les Paul.
Hotcake - haven't found too many applications for it. But cool for heavier, compressed stuff. I need more time with it.

Klon Centaur: great as a clean boost, but the nasal sounding overdrive tones didn't do anything for me.

Eternity - unusable EQ
MP LGW - as mentioned before...too grainy
Ethos - way too artificial

Ditto. That and the Tech 21 American Woman were not for me at all.

OCD - had some great touch sensitivity and harmonic goodness, but it had a lot of nasty high-end overtones that i couldn't stand
Silver Kiss - OCD shrill overtones x10.
Liquid Sunshine - Great low-gainer, but wasn't smooth enough. kinda want to give this another try
Original Bluesbreaker - it was pretty blah, but i want to give this another shot too

Always end up parting with the E and Cot pedals, love 'em in context but never on their own....Jury out EGDM cool, but grainy perhaps in a good way...staying: Zendrive, M'OD, MP Howler

Fulldrive II Mosfet (and 10th anniversary mosfet).....Ended up using both only on compcut mode to goose my OCD. All other settings were either too bright or too muddy. Really wanted to like it though.

Menatone Red Snapper: I've had it for almost a year, still haven't found a setting I'm happy with.

Seymour Duncan Twin Tube CLassic...

Not that I don't LOVE the tone. It's just so big (almost 3 normal sized pedals) and it takes its own Power supply ONLY.

I'm running a Pedaltrain JR and One Spot for power... so this thing is pretty obnoxious in that respect.

BUT IT SOUNDS SO DANG GOOD!! We'll see if it stays or not.

I think these pedals depend on your set up( guitar, amp, etc.) And all of these pedals mentioned probably work for someone. That being said I couldn`t get along w/ the following ones. Xcotic AC+, Jetter Gainstage Blue(loved the low drive on it),Jauernig DGTM, Barber Direct Drive, Subdecay Blackstar, OCD v3( still eperimenting w/ different resistor, copacitors though)

I'll be the first to say that I just couldn't get along with my Timmy. I know everyone here loves them and I could see why people would, but with my set up and playing style I just couldn't get it to work.

Same here. I had the yellow custom shop version.
As a clean boost boost, it sounded really nice. As an OD, I thought it was too compressed and mid-heavy for my AC30. Also, I found the boost function rather useless (unless in comp cut).

I've been through a bunch of 'em, and keep coming back to the Barber Burn Unit set to low gain. It just works for me.

Fulltone FD2 - I'm just not a TS fan, I guess, although I do love my MI Audio BBD for certain things.

Fulltone OCD - Had this weird high end once the tone knob was past 9:00

BB Preamp - Loved it with the gain at 8:00, too compressed otherwise

Eternity - Too much midrange for me

Zendrive - Just didn't work for me. Too bright w/o enough low end / low mid

Honey Bee - Cool sound but I didn't use it that much
