Mixer for recording band - 8 inputs?

So we have been recording lately with a couple of room mics into an maudio box then into a computer. We are ready to move to recording the drum kit, guitar, bass, 2 vocals, and keys. That's 8 mics if you use 3 on the drums. The Behringer Eurorack http://www.guitarcenter.com/Behringe...49-i1153474.gc
looks about right for this, but I notice a lot of 6 mic ins for a lot cheaper.

Is there a better way to go about this?
