Tone Television-JTM 45, MXR Distortion+, Fender 1966 RI Strat.

Tone Television-JTM 45-MXR Distortion+, Fender 1966 RI Strat.

Well...yup. Here we go again. Old School tone...how does it smell? How does it hold up?

IMO-pretty damm good. Actually...REALLY DAMM GOOD!

BTW-I've got a new concept for TT. It's a lot easier for moi, and more informative for vous.

Lemme know what'cha think-

(BOY, You Tube thins out the audio...uggh!) AB

Hi Andy!

Those are some smooth sounds you got going there my friend! I heard the You Tube clip first and I have to agree with you, the sample quality over there is not too hot. Your other clips sound amazing. The MXR Distortion+ was my first effect pedal back in the day. I never really cared for it's sound, but you really made it sound so usable and smooth, which was never the case with the MXR in my use with it.

Your playing is great by the way...love your sound and style!

Yo Andy ... that sounds great ...
For many years the only distortion unit I ever used was an
old script logo MXR+ in front of Twin ...
Forgot what a great sound it's capable of ...

Tasty & soulful as always bro ... keep 'em coming ..

Hey Mad John! Glad you dug it. You Tube is not audio friendly, thats for sure. This clip really proves it. Ahh well. it's free, so I can't bitch. Thanks for listening!

Thank you brother J. Thank you very much.

It REALLY puts a different light on things for me.

I've owned a lot of gear since contracting the dreaded, yet loved TGP virus...and a LOT of em' did NOT have the pronunciation this combo has.

Marshalls...they really do rule.

That being said, my favorite new amp I want to own? Mesa Lonestar!

Thanks Quan. I always value your comments and views.
I wanted to make this video MORE informative, hence my "lack of screen time." And more gear shots.

MAN, that makes life easier. I can punch in, fix stuff...not bathe...work in my bathrobe like Scott Learner...it's all good!
