Those video clips sound like ass. There are all kinds of digital artifacts and smearing on that. I seriously wonder why the put those up as you have very little clue what that pedal sounds like from those videos.

The video clips aren't so great but I think the audio clips sound real good. Very "fat" tones with lots of harmonics and nice distortion.

Those clips tell me NOTHING. No dry/uneffected tone to reference. Could be anything in that signal chain for all I know.

Plus, that has to be one of the worst web sites ever created.

Jeez - makes you glad you went through the trouble to post anything doesn't it?

The videos weren't all that revealing but I thought the audio samples were sick.

Thanks for posting,
Bill

Critics.......jeez. Maybe Jeorge should stop trying to get his pedals out the door so he can get the site and clips to everyones standards first. Yeah, that makes a lot of since.

Agreed, on all counts.

They don't even mention what guitar was used, only that it was through a twin.

I really dug the tone in the third clip though.

Guys, its an opinion. The pedal could be amazing....it could be total crap. But there is really no way to tell from the clips. The tone in the clips was good.....but that doesn't mean anything when you take into consideration all the factors that make up "tone".

And as far as the site goes, come on, that is pretty bad. If you want to sell products you should be thinking about stuff like whether or not your site is well laid out and full of useful, relevant information.

Jeepers, Jeorge! I love the quote, although I'm not sure how it applies here. Welcome back to being a maker! I'm glad you're around. 8^)

From the website:
The Fat Sandwich Harmonic Saturator Distortion audio sound samples were played through a blackface Twin Reverb set clean. All distorted tones are from the Fat Sandwich!

That's clear enough for me.

What I heard on the audio clips makes we want to try this thing live. I'm always listening through computer speakers, so I always assume that the fidelity of any clips requires the "willing suspension of disbelief."
~Coleridge

According to the theory, suspension of disbelief is a quid pro quo: the audience tacitly agrees to provisionally suspend their judgment in exchange for the promise of entertainment.
