Just found a free original small stone
I was helping my dad clean out his garage & I found an original EH Small Stone in a crate. He told he that he used to run his keyboard through it in the late 70s/early 80s, & that I could have it. Now it sounds great, but it has volume drop issues, and the bypass doesnt seem to be great. Is it worth looking into modding, or just getting a TB loop & sticking it in?

just TB it and youl have an excellent phaser.
i scored a 79 small stone in a trade last year,it made all kinds of noises when bypassed so i TB it and now its the best phaser ive ever heard.no volume drop, boost or any other problems. |

Just do a search - I'm pretty sure someone around here knows what true bypass is.
I've been fooling around with it a little more & I realized that the volume drop is very slight, so it shouldnt be a big deal. I'm not hearing any noises when bypassed, but I should do a tone-suck test. Who does the TB mod for this pedal btw? |
