Hi All, I've got a problem with my les paul's neck pickup. It sometimes cuts out or loses alot of output....sorta randomly...

Wiring issue?

How can I diagnose this??

It's probably the switch. Wiggle it around & switch between pups repeatedly while you're having the problem & you'll find out. It might need some contact cleaner, or you might have to replace it.

I took a look at the connections and they look to be soldered nice and tight. So I might try the contact cleaner...how do I go abouts doing this???
