Shipping Pedals Overseas

Anyone have experience shipping things overseas? I'm toying with the idea because the weak dollar means they're willing to pay considerably more for pedals I'm trying to sell. What's the best carrier to use for this?

People sent me goods directly through USPS with good results.
Beware that in some countries (like mine) customs may be slow and
the product may be delayed several weeks up to a few months.
At one time, the shipping method chosen (by Lollar I think) allowed
me to track the package all the way 'till it was delivered. Most
methods only track untill the package leaves your countries.
This is something important that can make your deal safer and
put your buyer at ease.

I'm on the other end. I am in Brazil and have had excellent experience with USPS in general. I have done about 600 ebay deals (90% with USA), hardly ever insured and there has been maybe 1 or 2 things that were lost.
Express Mail (EMS) is a bit more expensive but it's virtually 100% guarantee.

USPS First Class works for me, quicker than Priority (don't know why!) never lost anything in over 300 transactions from the US to Australia, and vice versa.

USPS Priority or Express. Both have tracking through click n ship. Very convenient for me as I have bought a number of pedals from the US. Everything works well so far.

For the smaller stuff that I buy, seller normally ships first class mail which arrives quicker than priority, go figure..
