Fender Relic strat with Trainwreck Express VIDEO

I just recently got a brand new 2008 production "Fender '57 Heavy Relic" stratocaster. 7lb 6oz of very resonant ash. Today (the late Ken Fischer's birthday actually) I finished this video clip for Youtube featuring the Relic with my original '89 Trainwreck Express amp. My first experience with the guitar in the studio went very well. It's a great guitar!

Nice guitar and amp. You are a great player. No offense but you gotta get a new shirt! Or one that matches the guitar.

Very nice - great note choice and tone! How does the '57 Relic differ from the '56 . . . is it mostly the ash body vs. the '56's alder?

Man that sounds great! Are you running a pedal in front of the Trainwreck?

very nice. Always love how dynamic the TWs are gainwise without much more volume.

No pedals, which applies to all my videos with the Trainwreck amp. Many folks ask this. That's why I put a "foot" shot in this video Not that I'm against pedals, it's just the TW works nicely without pedals for what I do with it.

Compared to the '56 relic the '57 heavy relic has an ash body, taller frets, a flatter neck radius, a 5 way switch, and a slightly different V neck than the '56. Might be more beat up too, but they all vary
