Generally speaking people go to the amp shows to play and hear
amps not available in the big box stores.

I haven't seen their amps in the big stores around here, but I haven't been looking in a big store for amps in a long time. Some of the guys were in the Fender/Bogner/Egnater booths, and I have seen their stuff in the Guitar centers and the like. Just wonderin if anybody else that was NY amp show, especially out of the Dumble loop, could comment....

I did, they were down the hall from Bob Reinhardt so I popped in and played the 18 watter. It was a very nice amp and the guys there were very cool.
VERY heavy for an 18 watter but it sounded great. I was very surprised to learn they are made in Korea.

I also plugged (briefly) into the 100W full stack, damn!! thos 4X12's were loaded with Vintage 30 which made a loud 100 watter REALLY LOUD!!

Thanx!!! KOREA? I thought they were made in the UK!! Not sure which model has the EF86 preamp, I know one of em do.

What didja try in the Reinhardt room? I only tried one amp, the Ampzilla, sounded really great! Lotsa gain, cleaned up nice, had a somewhat middy Brian May thing about it, cool....

I was in Bob's room all day pretty much, I brought my JKC combo for him to use for the day.
I've played most of his amps at one time or another, the ampzilla was fun but too much gain for my taste, I did hear some shredder guys play it and it worked and sounded great for that style.
I love my JKC though.

When I was talking to the guy at Blackstar they told me they are made in Korea and shipped over to the UK.
They still look and sound great though, not as cheap as I would have expected though. I thought their price point would be lower considering.

To my untrained eye they look solid.
