New Dr. Z EzG-50
So, what are the thoughts on this one?
A Dr. Z take on the good old classic blackface tone according to Dr. Z. Anyone tried one?

The EZG-50 isn't out yet. I don't think it will be until early to mid June if memory serves. Go over to the Z-Talk forum and ask there, a few guys have played one over there.

Its real nice. I've played it twice. Real nice. Very loud and it has a very flexible tone stack. Its my favorite Z amp ever. To be clear...I haven't much liked other Z amps.

Are you gonna play somethin' or not??? Good deals with: CHESSNUTDOG, jiml, traviswalk, mcdyas, tradarama, std22, Mark Williams, Timster, plagtr2, murkat, orange worker, Bejazzz, Ascension, Lambone + many others i can't remember...

I tried one a few months ago, and it is my favorite Dr.Z amp! It has a gorgeous clean tone, and a beautiful Reverb. Takes distortion/overdrive
pedals very, very well. From other threads, the amp is sensitive to what speakers you plug it into. Check out the Dr. Z message board for lot's more info on the EZG-50.

mine isnt here yet.. so I was just wondering about some opinions.
Im planning on running it through an Egnater tourmaster 2X12 cab with Celestion Elite 80's... Hopefully that will be good for the head

I have one, and love it....It is almost twin loud! Super thick fat and big tones....Like a mutant Fender BF on steroids ! It is the cleanest of the Z amps to my ears....Just a great amp with better , more flexable reverb. I am trying to get the time to put up a demo vid for the Dr.....Love it!
