mbox vs. mbox 2

hey guys i have been using an mbox for a while and haven't had any issues with it... i was curious if anybody had any experience with both the original mbox and the mbox 2? are there any differences between them that would make purchases an mbox2 worthwhile?? thanks.

Two main things that stick out:
1. Mbox can't go above Protools 7.1 (I think? Either way - it stops at a version, and is now unsupported by all updates and future releases.)
2. The Pres in the MBox 2 are far superior.
