Could we get an expert opinion (or two! ) on just what the difference is between grain in the flame and actual mineral streaks ... the OP asked for mineral streaks (typical of Eastern Maple,no ? ) and while some examples are beautiful here .... they don`t seem to all have the streaking that sets the Eastern apart ... Just askin` because I DON`T know what i`m talking about ...just curious .

Yeah, the dealer I bought it from sent it with old rusty strings on it! I was mortified. Also, the fretboard was parched beyond belief. The rosewood was almost white.
