Am I wrong to say it has a bit of a single coil type tone to it?
Lots of treble and mids, but not allot of bass response.

Actually, it's got plenty of bass. That was through the bright channel of my ceriatone plexi clone! I would say it's close to a good mini humbucker but with a bit more girth.

Haha - You have big ears. I've been working on a new pick technique to allow me to do some dimeola stuff but it's going to be a while before I can really pull it off. Right now I'm in between where both techniques I'm struggling with.
