Anyone use a Strat w/ Budda SDII?
Looking to get a Don Grosh with Suhr singles and wanted to know if anyone uses a strat with the amp and their impressions.
Thanks, Chris |

I use SD II with a strat. I'd say it's a great match because Budda's are tend to be darker amps and with a bright guitar like strat, it's a great combination.
Highly recommended. |

Bout a month ago me and a couple friends tried a room full of guitars (all high end - G & L, Suhr, James Trussart, etc...) and a room full of amps (Laney, Two Rock, Suhr Badger, Savage, etc...)
The best sound we got was a Suhr strat plugged straight into a Budda SD45. To date up there with the best guitar tone I have ever heard. Of course the git was about $3K and the amp I think was another $3.5K. |

I am a very happy owner of a SD 45 and agree about the tone, just not the price. They may be one of the best bargains out there. They can be had for $2k all day long and less at some dealers.

I own a Budda SDII 18, and a 30 watt SDII as well. Both 1x12 combos.
I use Strat's and tele's exclusivley, and I use the 18 watter for all my gigs ( sounds fuller than the 30 watter - both sound great just a little different ).... My custom shop S-1 tele, and Custom Pro Strat through that little 18 watt budda is some of the best tone I've had in over 30 years of guitar playing, and having tried about every amp out there.... Single coils + Buddas = awesome tone ( IMHO ) |
