Bajatech Bone Bender vs. other tone bender

I've got the bajatech Bone bender. I'm using it with single coils, and it is producing sounds that my other pedals can't achieve.....that really nasally spitty sound. It's really cool.

Anyone have the Bajatech that can compare it to other tone bender circuits?

I want to keep this unique sound, but since this one is so inexpensive, my slut nature wonders if there is something better.

I have the Bone Bender. Great for 'Hurdy Gurdy' sounds. I used mine alongside an old Vox Tonebender and it was similar.

I find that my Bone Bender has more bite than either the DeMarco Klonebender MKII or the Monsterpiece MKII (actually a MK1.5 clone), but that's the nature of the beasts. According to Baja Tech, the Bone Bender is a MKI clone, which should be nastier with more high end than the MK1.5, MKII, or MKIII versions.

Yes, I also have the Monsterpiece Mk II (Mk 1.5), and it's smoother and less whiney than the Baja Tech Bone Bender.

No question that the D*A*M 1966 is the real deal. The Bone Bender may be the poor man's alternative.... YMMV.

I haven't tried the others, but the Throbak Stonebender is awesome.
