amp buzzes when running stereo. what causes this?
i am trying to run two amps threw my L and R outputs on my Boss GT-6. im really fine tuning my sound. i used to not bother me that there was a mild buzzing noise but now it does. i have played around with the ground lift switches and tried pluggin in differnt inputs on the amps, but it still buzzes. if i unplug on amp (doesnt matter which one) then it goes away, dead quite like its supost to be. i have tried more then just two amps and it still does it. amps i want to use is my Peavey Classic 50 and Ampeg Super Rocket. i even tried my 67' fender champ. most of the buzz is coming from my Classic 50.
any advice is much appreciated! |

Sounds like groud loop between the efx and amps. Not between the amps.

ground lift adapter (3-prong to 2-prong) on the effects device. If that doesn't work, try using the adapter on one of the amps.
