New Low watt Wreck type amp

I am very happy with my latest offering. I just finished with the prototype of a low watt Liverpool type amp that I delivered to Mark Knopfler last night at a show. I have been very interested in doing one, and when Mark asked me to do it, I decided that was it.. It is about 18 watts, and is set up to be switchable from 2 EL84's to
2 6V6's. It comes with both in it, and you can switch on the fly to whichever you prefer. I have been working with a custom transformer to get a very good, lower powered version. Its set up with 3 12ax7, 2 el84, 2 6v6, and a gz34 rectifier, although you could sub in a 5u4 or most other octal rectos to change the sag available.

I am a Knopfler freak! Would love to hear more of the amps (clips and details). What is it called? How is it priced? What does Mark think? Just in time to compete with Komet's new 18 watt offering.

Sounds SWEET! I'll be seeing Mark a Chastain Park in Atlanta when he comes to town. Will he be playing the little Wreck then? Chastain is really anal about keeping spl down. Maybe I'll get to hear it!

He isnt going to be using it live for this tour. Its so late in the game, there isnt much chance to work it into the lineup, they dont get a soundcheck at a lot of shows. He is taking it back to the UK with him.
I havent named it yet. I am not sure actually what to call it. As for the speakers, he tried it yesterday with his live rig 4x12 marshall cab with V30's in it, but he has a few cabs back home he likes too. Im also probably going to send him some of my speakers to try out.
It is basically available now, I have all the bugs worked out of it, well except for the name thing
Price will be roughly the same price as the Titan. Unfortunaely I wont be able to get any clips on it for a little while, I got the prototype for Mark done and to him, and didnt get time to get it recorded. The next one will hopefully spend a little time "on the mic" so I can get some clips. Its a very dynamic little amp, it responds a lot to the guitar, the volume of the guitar, and your right hand.

I also got to check out this prototype and it sounded incredible! I bet Knopfler will love it! That must have been fun to go to the show and hand him the amp right there and then.

I am LOVING my new 18!!!!

I will definitely want to come check out that new amp and the MI-6 again at some point in the near future!

How about "Liverpuddle".

Sounds like it's a great amp!

Let's name the amp then, Bob!

"Livermore" - too pretenious?

Also, looking at the rest of the line-up, what about renaming "The 18," the "R-18?"

Can't wait to hear more about this amp!
