Hi from Virginia (pics included)
Hey:
I've used The Gear Page off and on for quite a while with my questions I had about a myriad of products and equipment, and finally decided to join in the fun. I'm 38, retired from the US Marine's, disabled, and now living with my wife in her hometown since May of 07' when I left Camp Lejeune for the last time. I've been playing guitar for longer than I want to admit, and I grew up on the classic sounds of the British Invasion up to and including playing in the 80's with a touring rock band that played mostly Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, and sometimes Massachusetts. I am into all kinds of stuff really....I love high end equipment and guitars...I have a fetish with San Dimas Charvel's...and I also love the sounds of old Fender's and Gibson's....kinda ecclectic. I just paid for a Rivera M100 that should be here next week...I haven't had a real amp in quite some time...especially tube...I've been using my DigiTech GNX4 through powered monitors for my practice area...now I can pump it through the Rivera to warm up the sound a bit. Here's some of my gear....not much but it's mine.... Charvel #3062, #2870, BC Rich ST-III, Fender Elite Gold Strat, Charvel #4110, and my trusty and ancient Les Paul Custom w/EMG 81/85  Close ups:   I absolutely love this lol!!  The Strat's together:  Fender Elite Bridge (Freeflyte by Schaller w/Graphtec saddles)  For cabinets, I have a Carvin 4X12 w/their British speakers and also a custom made cabinet by a guy in Seattle with Celestion V30's in it for the Rivera. Hmmm...I use either D'Addario EXL120's or Ernie Ball's and have recently been turned on to the V-Pick Screamer... That's about it..thanks for allowing me here and hope to learn and share what I can, when I can. Thanks!! Sam

Welcome.
I was born at Cherry Pt. and grew up in Havelock NC. Used to cruise the pawn shops in Jacksonville looking for guitars and amps. Left NC in 1985. Nice bunch of guitars you have there.
