Quick clip of Axe-FX Marshall

Short and sweet clip, patch is here: http://www.axechange.net/preset.aspx?preset_id=391

This is my main go-to rock tone tweaked for 5.22. Note the following - warmth was 1.77 and the tone position is "end". The result is a wonderfully alive 'idealized' Marshall JCM800'ish tone that I adore. Killer roll off to clean too.

Recorded direct, no post processing whatsoever. Straight to MP3. This is exactly what I send to FOH.

I just bought the Standard.

I can hear nice complexity on some of the chords that ring out.

I bet the sound guy loves that unit.

Another great tone I wouldn't hesitate to use on a recording. Good stuff Scott! I dig the STP riffage too

NIce tone. I myself own a mint 1981 JCM800 2203 Marshall 100 watt and a mint "HOme tag" 1977 Non master volum,e 100 watt. Both have NOS SEIMENS and I keep a couple ztra fresh NOS quads on hand. I had a "one off" L Jackson Loop which is non invasive installed in the JCM800 . NO DRILLING. One grommwet. tube buffered input/ouput knobs and dual functionality for on.off of the loop and serial or parallel usage. It sounds fabulous and is mounted to the left rear side with adhesive. Easily reversible. WE used a previous stock Marshall hole from the top and the grommet came out perfect. I recommend this loop to anyone NOT wanting to DRILL everywhere. My 77 MKII 100 watt JMP is a gem too. to completely differant sounding amps . I love them both. Looking for either a 1972 Uk version NMV or a 1968 12000 series whether it be a replica thru Metrtoamp or a real one. WEll see how the funds allow. Abviously ill attenuate ! I love my Shredmaster and my Analogman BOSS OD1 3403d 16 prong chip[ with push/pull clipping. each pedal has its own bag. obviously the OD1 is for the JCM800. the shred pushes the MKII 1977 Marshall into organic heaven! . I love the H2O originaal dleay . chorus aswell for both amps. one running thru the loop with ZERO percent nolise. I then AB/.Y them both fopr gigs and such. Im so into the tones. Took me quite a while and some serious thought about surrounding these pieces with the right formulaic pieces i.e spkrs, gtrs, cones, cabs, fx, power regulation, attenuation ,etc etc... Great soundclips scott....

wow scott, i'm sure the sound guy is loving that axe-fx! that definintely sounds nice! I do hear an out of place sounding upper-midrange rattle or something on the dirtier sustained chords. Is that some kind of over-extended speaker simulation, or is my lack of real marshall experience showing here?

thanks for sharing! i'm really tempted to give this a try soon!

It's just an mp3 file. Nothing tricky or fancy. Whatever player you have should work.
