That was nice, what a Strat should sound like, and how refreshing not to be assailed with 100% total harmonic distortion. Noodling's never pointless - it's how new ideas are often formed.

That's my favorite tone with the gear I have. Was just comparing wired/wireless, but it's my favorite. Not super interesting playing, but I think a good representation of that tone.

Taste. There were some spots where I would've just rip it all out, but man, You had the patience (well, S L O W blues...) to wait and instead throw in some really cool bends and a bit more force on the pick attack.

hi guys, i'm very new to TGP. I was just a lurker before, hopefully i will be able to post more in the near future.

anyway, this is recorded on my laptop using sonar 5. USB interface is the Lexicon Lambda.

Mics used was an MXL 990.

Fender 60th anniversary strat into
ts808 reissue into ts9dx--both stock

into a solid state fender stage 160--sacrilege!( my hot rod deville is in the shop )

played over a backing track (A minor affair) from the GC king of the blues backing track cd.

tell me what you think. i was testing out sonar, learning the ropes--hopefully you'll hear a lot more from me. Still a work in progress.
