Power supply Question/Deluxe Reverb

If I do nothing else but replace by Sprague's with Solen caps of the same value will it improve the bass response a little. These caps are suppose to be much more efficient in the charging and discharging cycles/if they do help can just a swap be safely done?

I doubt replacing them with the same value will result in an audible change. I use 20uf instead of 16uf for the power supply.

No it won't work. The same values give the same performance. The filter caps in Solen would be huge in comparison a 16uf cap in Solen would be unable to fit under the cap can.No way,no how.
If you want better bottom end response try using an EV speaker or something like an Eminence Texas Heat.

If you don't mind the total lack of sag, using a solid state recto will definitely tighten up the bottom. With these you can increase the cap value to anything you like.
