Arrived: Ribbecke Halfling (thin body)

Thought I'd post some pics of the Halfling I received two weeks ago. It is a perfectly constructed and finished instrument. The acoustic tone is remarkably loud and full. Plays beautifully. I've had very little time to dive in, so I can't give a detailed review yet ( have only plugged in once for about 10 minutes ).

The guitar took about six months to build and was delivered on time. I think that's amazing considering the effort and craftsmanship. The burst, with which I'm thrilled, was applied by the man himself. Mr. Ribbecke also inlaid the amaryllis on the guard. He and I both have them growing outside our respective work spaces. It's a nice touch. Tom had done this on the headstocks of some inaugural Halflings.

Destroy All Guitars' Cliff was a selfless man with his time and energy. With out his guidance, this may not have happened for me. I am a client for life!

Daniela, Tom's daughter, is delightful. She is uncommonly pleasant as well as responsive to emails and phone calls. She worked through some issues with the construction process professionally and with great care.

OK, to the pics:

Dave

Absolutely beautiful .

Any deal that starts with Cliff and ends with a guitar like that is special, congrats .

gorgeous. I love his bursts. I have a guitar on order and used on of his bursts as my example color. Would love to here more about how she sounds.

I had a full-depth Halfling - it wasn't the guitar for me. But I'd never before seen such construction quality & artistry. Even the back of the headstock was a joy to look at. And that neck construction. And the customer service from Tom and Cliff was stellar. Congratulations!
