lots of good comps out there...

if you can spend a little more than what you're looking at with the ones you mentioned you've got the Barber Tone Press which gets a ton of love around here... also hearing great things about the Mirage RAF for a good price too

then if you get a little spendier you can look at the Keeley Comp, Analogman Bi-Comp, the new Mad Professor Forest Green... tons of good options.

of the ones you mentioned though ive heard the most good things about the marshall ed, but imo if you're gonna be using compression at all you should go to at least the mid-range tier...

I have a Barber Tone Press because of the parallel compression. Check this out:

Wow, I have been through a ton of nice ones lately. The Tone Press is a good choice but the Keeley is really making me happy.

I'd go with the CS-3 in that case.

I used to have an old Dynacomp, which I liked a lot, but sold it in a huge gear purge years ago.
Then I went through a bunch of boutique ones: Keeley, Analogman, GoudieFX, an few others which I never bonded with.
I just got another old Dynacomp, and I'm happy as a happy clam.

EDIT: Just re-read your geographical problem: Agree with Brian, I'd go with the Boss in that case.
