Deluxe Mod?

Would it be possible to mod the normal channel of a SFDR into a Tweed Deluxe circuit with the possibility to switch between the modded and the original vibrato channel?

It's definitely possible. I would use and A/B switch for channel switching so you don't have to hack the amp.

If you insist on true internal channel switching, check out www.webervst.com channel switching relay boards.

Check the schematics. Remove the SF tone stack and insert the Tweed tonestack.

Vintage guitar mag

Gerald Weber wrote an article for Vintage Guitar describing exactly how to do this, using an outboard A/B switch for the channels.
