Tune-O-Matic bridge for Jazzmaster - anyone available with the right measurements?

Would like to replace a Jazzmaster bridge with the Tune-O-Matic one... Is there any special version available so I don't have have to drill new holes?

The nashville TOM might be the go:

Thanks a lot!

Looks great - couldn't find any info on the measurements. Just to confirm - this is the one I can simply replace a regular Jazzmaster bridge without having to drill different holes into the body?

What about the Gretsch Adjusto-Matic bridge that the J Mascis Model uses? I assume the holes are located differently there on the body?

I could not say for sure - I could not find the specs on the Fender bridge anywhere. You should ask your guitar tech.

If you can buy this one it might be the ticket, but I haven't found pics where I can see the bit where the bridge posts enter the body. Your JM will have holes for the bridge posts that are too large for a Gibson ABR TOM, so they would have to be filled and re-drilled by a luthier. The Nashville TOM uses a larger hole for the bridge posts, so it might work, and it looks like the Adjusto-matic would be the best fit, but this is only a guess - and it depends on whether the J Mascis JM is made alongside the normal JMs. If it is then it's likely that Fender sourced a TOM type bridge that would fit into the same holes drilled for the standard JM bridge. If that isn't the case then you are probably looking at a luthier job. A Gibson TOM will need the saddles filed anyway to compensate for the different radius on the JM, so a full set-up would be in order with the new bridge.

There is a rumour of a new bridge being made for the JM, it will be called the "Mastery Bridge" - details are scarce at the moment because there's a patent application in the works.

Thansk a lot for the feedback! Yeah, I guess I'll just have to order the Nashville TOM and see if it works with the original holes. The Mastery bridge sounds great, too, but I guess there's no rumour on the release date?
