Am I the only one still using a V-Stack?

Every time I plug in my Tweedy I get something cool out of it. I can dial in a clean tone that makes my acoustic amp a very reasonable backup and even cooler as a stereo piece, and I can get a great nasty grind out of my Allen or Fenders. Such a versatile piece, why has it fallen off so many pedal boards?

It's a great pedal that I left on for a few years. I've since moved on to a menatone KotB, which I feel is a little more open sounding.

It was good then (Tweedy) and it is good now - for someone who dislikes Overdrive/Distortion/Fuzz pedals I have a few!
Each one has it uses now and again.
Best, Pete.

Page 4 in 24 hours - guess that's a resounding yes! But it's still a ery useful concept and I really have no desire to bring a laptop as a backup.

Thanks Pete and exodus. I'm guessing things haven't gone a lot farther in this arena short of the Axe FX?

I toggle back and forth between a sans amp classic and a the tweedy - for my direct to pa board. It's like having a vintage marshall (sans amp) and a fat booteek amp. Running them stereo works well too. Although I find the tweedy doesn't like drive pedals in front even with the gain down to almost 0.

I read somewhere that there was a 'low gain' mod for the tweedy - but didn't find anything searching tgp. Anyone know about this?

I use the Tweedy still. Not too much, but it stays on my board and replaced my last TS type pedal.
