Is the Korg Pitchblack accurate enough for intonation?

I want to buy a tuner but it needs to be pedal form, true bypass, and accurate enough for setting intonation.

The Korg gets great reviews, is priced well ($70), but I don't know if it is good enough for doing intonation jobs.

it'll do better than a tu-2 (+/- 1 vs. +/-3), but the turbo-tuner is leagues beyond it for intonation for slightly more money.

It's fine. How accurate does it need to be? How accurately can you play??

tuning on the Korg PB and then checking it on my SS yielded very close results...differences yes but nothing to worry about...I would intonate with it...

Isn't the turbo tuner $130? That's close to double the price. How much more accurate is the TT and is it really necessary (this is an honest question, and not a setup).

Absolutely. One bend and it's not going to make much of a difference unless you want to intonate after every note you play. The Pitchblack does a great job, gave up my Strobstomp after getting one.

+1 here. Got sick of my SS being unreliable and picked up a Pitch Black. The first test I did was to tune my 3 main guitars (SG, Strat, Tele) with the PB and then run into the SS to compare. There really was barely a noticeable difference. I did keep the SS for setups, but I think the PB would be fine for this.
