Both are good but I'll take The Rain Song. Only because I've heard Stairway a bazillion times.

Rain Song.

Ledzed got to artsy fartsy after the first 3 albums.

Stairway to Beerstore is better.

The Rain song has something to do with George Harrison, so I choose that one! lol

Another vote for the Rain Song...it has such a wonderful and feel and buildup to it.

Despite being hopelessly overplayed and worshipped, STH is still an amazing work, a classic in every sense....HOWEVER, Rain is my pick, and Houses of the Holy is my fave Zep album.

Stairway to Heaven. Just because it's been played a bazillion times on the radio does not negate the fact it's the greatest rock song of all time.

And ya, listen to the first 2 chords in both Rain Song and Something. It's Jimmy's nod to George after George told him Zep needed more ballads.

The live version of The Rain Song is my favorite piece by Led.

The whole chromatic drop and chords in the beginning of the song is a "quote" from Something.
Jimmy has said this.

I and Jimmy are both Beatles fans.
